I’m Laney, a designer born and raised in the Bay Area. I’m passionate about creating intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly digital experiences. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Cognitive Science, which deepened my understanding of human behavior and how people interact with technology. Now, I’m continuing to grow as a designer while pursuing my master’s in Human-Computer Interaction at UC Santa Cruz.
My love for art and creating naturally led me to design. I’m especially drawn to how UX shapes the everyday experiences we often overlook, and I’m passionate about combining creativity and problem-solving to craft products that feel effortless, thoughtful, and human. I’m also excited about how emerging technologies like AI can enhance the way we design for people’s needs.
